If you use detergent pods, make sure the pod is properly placed and the dispenser lid is closed. If the pod does not fit, consider using a different brand of pod or liquid dishwashing detergent. Detergent pods require hot water to dissolve completely, thus the water supply temperature should be at least 120°F. If the pod or pill manufacturer recommends a higher temperature, use it.
