Please try again later.Yes, ours made very loud popping noises similar to these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyOImUC6KbM Samsung was no help, but Geek Squad knew what it was and fixed it. Something to do with the drain misalignment on the back panel. We just had the evaporator fan replaced and they found that our compressor will need to be replaced. Only 26 months old. Nice machine when it works.

After turning it on, I get no noise except when it's doing the ice thing. I've never had a fridge that was this silent before.
