• If I'm picturing your description correctly (I see a grate with a teardrop at the bottom), it sounds like the water filter needs to be changed. Does the icon blink red for several seconds when you open or close the door? If this is what your refrigerator is doing, you will need to go to http://www.samsungparts.com.
