“How much clearance do I need for a refrigerator on the sides and back?”

According to the user manual, 2 inches or more on the back. No buffer needed on the sides, but be aware that the doors open out, so make sure to have clearance in the front area for the doors to open. See pages 16 and 17 of the user manual (https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202003/20200304094050460/SBS_RS5300T_DA68-03958J-01_EN_MES_CFR.pdf).

Left side (facing refrigerator): 14" (355 mm). Right side (facing refrigerator): 22 1/4" (564 mm). I have included the user manual for complete guidance on installing your refrigerator.
