The right door has the pull handle which opens the door. It also includes a "trigger" that will allow you to open only the outer door and gain access to the items stored in the door shelving on the right door. When we purchased the refrigerator, I thought that was a gimmick that we would not use. Turns out that we use it all the time to access the items in the "back" of the door shelves. The door shelving is deep enough to hold a gallon jug of milk, so when storing smaller liquid containers, the back row is harder to access. That is unless you use the outer door and now that container is right there in front!
