“Mine came shipped from BB w/ a flat base piece but no connecting part to the TV. Is this standard? thanks”

• No. The connecting piece should be present in the package. It was in mine and I'd take the TV back to a local store if it weren't.

• there should be 2 pieces to the base. the flat attaches to the stand - then to the TV. the pieces were located in 2 different sections of the Box
