Possibly, depending upon the output of your VCR. The hookup may be clumsy. This Samsung Series 4500 has two HDMI inputs, one coax cable antenna input, and a trio of component video hookups. If your old VCR has an HDMI output port, then yes. Its a simple one cable hookup. This Samsung 4500 also has one set of component video (red, white, yellow coded RCA style jacks) inputs. If your old VCR has three cable (red, white, yellow) RCA jack outputs, then yes. Again a one cable hookup. This Samsung 4500 series also one coax cable antenna input. In theory, an old VCR with a coax "out to TV" output may work. However that might temporarily or permanently disable the receiver's ability to pull in a digital signal. I wouldn't take the risk without knowing a lot more about the nature of the output signal from the old VCR. In passing, I note that most old VCRs were analog receivers, and would not feed a digital signal through to the Samsung. To get a digital signal output from the old VCR you'd need an analog / digital converter on the input side of the VCR antenna connector.
