• The water pitcher is tucked away nice and neat inside of the refrigerator door. There is plenty of space inside of the refrigerator with the pitcher.

• Thanks so much for asking, FredB! This model is listed as having a Digital Inverter Compressor. While the water pitcher can be removed from the refrigerator, the housing where the pitcher sits in the refrigerator cannot be removed. ^Jecca
