“Can ice maker be removed to create an extra freezer space?”

• Ice maker itself is mounted to ceiling of compartment, however you could easily tun off ice maker, remove the basket where the ice drops and use the extra space.

• Hi NY! While the ice bucket (where the ice cubes are stored) can easily be removed, the actual ice maker is built in and cannot be removed. ^Jecca

• Yes. You can remove the ice tray since it just sits there to catch ice. However, I'm not sure if you can turn off the water to the icemaker. I am very happy with this refrigerator.
