• You need to hold the lock button for five seconds to unlock the controls. Then once the controls are unlocked you can turn the icemaker on or off

• Hi there! For this model (RF28T5001SR/AA) there is an "ice maker" button on the control panel that turns the ice maker on and off when pressed. ^Jecca
