Hi there, It takes 3 hours for the ice maker to make 2 ice trays. Please see step 9 on the link below for reference. Ice maker is not working. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001012/#samsung-ice-maker-is-not-making-any-ice Have a great day. ^Aloe
