“I assume I can turn the ice maker completely off? I don't plan on hooking this up to a water line. Is that ok? I just want to use the ice space as freezer space.”

• We never hooked up our ice maker either since we have hard water. The ice maker is still attached in the freezer we just use the bin underneath to store things. We have not had any problems with this.

• Absolutely, NoIceForMe! This model has an "Ice Maker" button on the control panel that turns the ice maker on/off. It is important to keep the ice maker turned off if a water line is not connected to prevent internal damage. ^Jecca
