Yes it does....actually a very reliable one in the pull out lower freezer on the upper left side of it. Nice large ice tray capacity. We bought this particular model for that very reason. As one who has bought and owned 5 Samsung refrigerators over the last 7 years, I learned what works best and what doesn’t...then it’s a matter of preference. Through the door ice and water comes with significant drawbacks regardless the manufacturer....but especially on Samsung models. Our experience and identical of our brother is that those models suffer from freeze-thaw with those units located in the upper left side of the refrigerator. Constant opening and closing that upper door causes them to ice up....so ice is almost always difficult to get out and capacity is quite small. We actually have a counter depth one we have shut the ice maker off on for that reason and we buy ice! This model we just bought and another similar model we had in another condo we had has great ice capacity and none of the issues. That’s why we just bought this one. You don’t have the so called “convenience” of ice through the door or water, but we MUCH prefer this configuration because it is simple in design and works great without the ice up issue.
