That's what I'm using it with. I had to purchase a mini-displayport to displayport cable to utilize the full 4k resolution. The previous mDP to HDMI adapter I was using was pretty much limited to FHD (1080). For what it's worth, I'm connecting through a dock and not the port on the surface, so all good there.

However, if you are trying to figure out how to connect your ViewFinity to a Microsoft product, first please be sure to verify that your particular Microsoft product has HDMI 2.0 or Display Port 1.2 to connect to other non-Microsoft devices. If so, we cannot guarantee but this device should be able to connect via a dongle adaptor to your Microsoft products.
