“For aesthetic and lack of space, can the sub be placed on its side on top of a engineered wood cabinet? Cabinet top is 8ft from ground, there is a 11 inch space above, where i would like to place it sideways”

Hi Jason! We recommend keeping the subwoofer as close to the ground as possible due to the power cord, which is only about 5' long. The subwoofer is also meant to be placed upright, as the subwoofer provides side-firing bass. ^Gina
