“Do I need this remote to utilize my sound bar or can I use my cable TV remote that already operates my Samsung TV? (It is not my Samsung remote , it is from Comcast)”

Hi JP, if your audio input is set to the soundbar already the Xfinity remote should control your volume with no problem as long as the soundbar is plugged into the eARC/ARC port in the TV. Hope this helped! ^Scott
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use the remote that's provided with the soundbar, or use their app on your phone. The Comcast remote i don't think will work even if you're connected to arc. Hope this helps.
