Yes, as long as the show/Movie you are watching was recorded in Atmos. If not, it does not upgrade it

Hi Nyakwaaa, the Q70T truly does have Dolby Atmos compatibility. There is a discreet channel which is dedicated to atmospheric or "Atmos" sound. Thanks, ^Scott
