Don't need it for a Galaxy S3 charger. The watch charger uses a regular micro USB charger.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Great question as I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone and the Samsung Gear S3. If I understand your question correctly, any USB charger seems to work in both the wireless fast chargers for the phone and the watch. The only problem is the watch charger ONLY works for the watch - something to do with magnets, I think. So, I have both and I bought two of each - one for home, one for the office. The thing is, I don't need the one at the office since I don't wear the watch at night and the watch is so good it doesn't have to be charged all the time. Much better.
