• I installed this cooktop a couple of weeks ago. Most of the weight is in the cast iron grates and the griddle. The top itself was easy to manage single handedly. Picking up the box off the porch was hard.

• the cooktop by itself is not heavy it the 3 cast iron grated the cast iron griddle, and the cast iron wok adapter they are super heavy really nice.
