“Is it true that the oven door is soft close? Is the soft close feature for the top oven door only or the full door only or both?”

The soft close feature is for the whole oven so when you try to slam it the door stops and slowly closes the last 5 inches. If you try to quickly close the top oven it does not stop but it is very cushiony when closing so it's not like you can just slam it closed. I hope this helps.
