Most people like to match the trim kit to match with the microwave. Thus you want both from the same manufacturer. Once you have both items at home then you can check for the match between the two and also with other items if you would. Installation instructions from most manufacturers are not good at all. So you may end up to run a dry run install of the microwave in the cutout and hold Trim around it and see if you like what you see. This is the only real check that no one can do for you. You can get bits and pieces only from others.
