“How's the picture quality without High Definition? We already own one Samsung TV and it has a great picture using High Definition. However, when viewing channels in digital format the picture quality is horrible. I realize there's a significant difference between digital and HDTV, but I'm hoping this particular TV has a much better picture quality regardless of the format. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, would you recommend this TV?”

you know I just answered a question like this. To put it simply, HDTVs were designed to show HD content very well, but SD content wont look as good as the HD content, well, because its SD. this is just how HDTVs are.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was concerned that it would be horrible, but it's fine. It certainly isn't as crisp as HD, but it is at least as good or better than the perfectly good old, but smaller, tv that I replaced.
