“How seamless is the switching between art mode and an external source? I would like to use this as a second monitor above my desk and have the image switching be automatic; I.e., computer display to art mode and vice versa when I (un)plug my hdmi cable.”

Wfh2020, it is very seamless to switch to Art Mode! To switch between TV mode and Art Mode, press Power on the OneRemote. In Art Mode, the brightness and color tone of the display intuitively adjust to the ambient lighting of the room. The motion sensor detects any movement and will automatically turn The Frame on or off. ^Gina
