My Xbox One X is saying this Monitor can not perform 4K at 60Hz. Is there something i need to change in the settings for this to be corrected? null

Use the other HDMI port ( the HDMI port next to the display port)

I have this monitor and unfortunately had to back the gameplay off to 1440p through my xbox X settings. I would get screen flicker every few minutes. I believe it is the high refresh rates that games put out that this monitor cant handle. Fortunately the freesync will allow for videos etc to be 4k native but continuous gameplay at 4k seems to not do well on this monitor but overall I enjoy this monitor.

You can check the monitor settings for a reset etc. 
But other wise just enable your 4k options on the xb1x and let it be. 
Doesn't seem right that its giving you an issue.
