“Just purchased the UJ59 monitor last night , we can not get anything to work, the blue power light is on at the bottom right of screen. but nothing will appear on screen? Tried a power supply from another samsung screen and still nothing?”

Blue light means it has power but it's not on. You have to push the control stick on the back straight in (not up/down or to the sides) to turn it on. The blue light will turn off while the screen is on.
