- Answer Our space is 38 inches wide with a wall on one side. The door that isn’t on the wall swings open all the way and the one that is opens enough. It opens a little more than 90 degrees. I probably wouldn’t order this fridge if the space was any smaller than 38 inches.

It will be tight and will fit through the 31-inch doorway you have. QuestionWhat’s the depth of the fridge from the back of fridge to the hinges. My opening is too short to accommodate the hinges but the cabinets above are only a foot deep.

- Answer Hi Ryan, it’s nice to see you planning out your space ahead of time, especially with those cabinet limits in mind. For this model, the total depth from the back of the refrigerator to the front (including the doors and hinges) is about 33 5/16 inches. That means the hinge area is already part of that full depth measurement. Since your cabinets are only about a foot deep, the top of the refrigerator, including the hinges, will extend past them. The hinge height is around 70 inches, so it’s also helpful to factor in vertical clearance when checking your space.
