Casting depends entirely on the box you plug into the S5 not the monitor itself. Let me explain. When you cast, you do so not to the monitor but to hatever device you have plugged into it. It has no on-board Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, built‑in OS, Chromecast / AirPlay / Miracast receiver. HOWEVER... If the device you plug into the S5 supports casting, then casting works perfectly and the S5 will display whatever that device outputs. If you want to hook up: - A Chromecast → yes, full casting - A Fire TV Stick → yes, casting via supported apps - A Roku → yes, app‑based casting - A laptop → yes, screen mirroring - My legacy Sunyo ATS800 → only if it supports casting (it doesn’t).
