I asked this question and I took the monitor to the store and exchanged it. The new monitor is terrific - no noise, no problems. I think the first one was damaged possibly by carrier in delivery - like the person who answered my question suggested. I am glad I exchanged it - so I suggest exchanging it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought two of these and I could confidently recommend that you return/exchange them. It sounds like they may were dropped during shipment. But if you get a good one they are great.
