“My monitor will go black and say it’s not connected thru the HDMI cord that is, in fact, plugged in. How do I get it to recognize it’s still plugged in and work properly. I did try to unplug and plug it back in.”

• Did you try a different HDMI cable? I had the same issue and it turned out to be a bad HDMI/Display port cable.
