Hi Bruce! The Samsung HW-A470 Samsung Soundbar with Wireless Rear Speaker kit is designed to replace a traditional receiver and speaker arrangement by connecting to the TV direct, bypassing the receiver or amplifier. This soundbar will not work together with a receiver. ^Tim
