• YOU CAN PAUSE WASHER AT ANY TIME EVEN IF ITS SPINNING TO EXTRACT THE WATER SO YES PAUSE AND ADD CLOTHING OR DETERGENT AT ANY TIME

• Great question, Fee! You can add items during certain points of the wash cycle. The display has an icon that looks like a t-shirt with a + sign. When this icon is lit up, you can pause the cycle and add or remove items. ^Jecca
