A:AnswerGreetings!
We thank you for your question about setting the clock or time on this Samsung dishwasher model.
The display on this dishwasher model displays information about the current cycle including the cycle time, remaining time, Delay Start settings, and other cycle-specific information. The dishwasher does not have a clock that can be set like other home appliances that Samsung carries.

A:AnswerYes, when installing there is a large rubber? Piece that’s used to insulate the sound. If that is too tight when you screw in the kick plate it will cause this issue. Take off the kick plate and then loosen that rubber piece and it should solve the problem.
A:AnswerAuto-release function cause dishwasher door opening ~4in. If installed properly, the gap between lip on counter top and dishwasher door should be at least ~2in. I had issue with auto open function not working after about the third use. Another review elsewhere suggested using white lithium grease. Auto-open function has worked since.
Also, dishwasher came with a long, white sticker ~24" long that is to be adhered to underside of counter. Condensation will collect on it instead of under counter when auto-open function is enabled.
A:AnswerGreat question, Kamran0424. dBA stands for the decibel level of a quiet dishwasher can be.
This model has less noise and less disturbance with virtually silent wash cycles at 39 dBA, which is more quite than 42 dBA.
Have a great day.

A:AnswerThat would not be a dishwasher issue. The gurgling you hear is coming from your kitchen drain when the dishwasher drains during its cycle. Run a separate trap for your dishwasher and the gurgling goes away.
A:AnswerHi! We just purchased this particular model after a HORRID experience with a Maytag (coincidentally that one was only 93 days old and apparently had a bad motor, I couldn't believe it - after 93 days, it just stopped spinning ANY water out. The Warranty process was even worse, that's actually what led us to Samsung) and have only had it about 2-3 weeks, but so far its worked like a DREAM! It spins the clothes so well that its cut my drying time down almost in half! From everything I researched, experienced first-hand, and read up on this particular model (and after the Maytag fiasco, there was a LOT of reviews research, in particular) that is not normal and should be brought to the attention of Warranty immediately! Either via Samsung or the company you purchased it through. I'm so sorry you're having that trouble, it can be terribly frustrating! I hope you get a satisfactory resolution soon!
A:AnswerGreat question, Jules! With the Sanitize option selected, the water temperature is increased in the final rinse cycle for high temperature sanitization. The Sanitize light will blink when the water temperature reaches a high enough temperature and stays lit until the Sanitize option ends, you open the door, or you turn off the dishwasher. The Sanitize option also helps to improves drying performance. ^Jecca

A:AnswerHi there,
Yes, the Storm wash has powerful rotating jets that provide a heavy-duty cleaning, which washes even the dirtiest and hard-to-clean dishes without pre-washing. On the other hand, the Linear wash system has Aqua blast jets, which provide corner-to-corner coverage for superior cleaning.
Have a great day!

A:AnswerWe have several Samsung appliances and electronics in our home that connect to the app but for some reason we can never keep this dishwasher connected to it, which was disappointing since it was part of the reason we got a Samsung dishwasher in the first place.
A:AnswerYes, but there is only room in the dispenser for one tablet or pac. There is a little extra room in the dispenser, but not enough to jam another tablet or pac. If you have hard water or an especially greasy load, you have to put a second tablet directly into the bottom of the dishwasher to be used in the pre-wash. There is no way to use two tablets or pacs in the main wash. I have found that this dishwasher does such a good job that I only need the one pac, except for an occasional very messy load. In those cases, I throw one more pac into the bottom of the dishwasher and it all comes out clean.
A:AnswerHi Rick,
We would love to answer all of your questions about this Samsung dishwasher model.
The California Code (California Proposition 65 warning) requires warning labels on products that may expose consumers to any of the 900-plus chemicals that California lists as a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant.
This Samsung dishwasher model does not provide an air gap and an aerator but is compatible to be used with an existing air gap in your sink if there is one.
If there is not an available air gap to prevent backflow, secure the drain hose to the side or back wall of the kitchen cabinet using cable ties or other fixtures. Make sure the drain hose height is at least 10 inches from the sink connector.
This dishwasher model has to connect to your sink for the drain hose.
