• No, the hub is not included, but the washer will connect through the app and works with alexa.

• No, it does not come included. It does specify on the website and in the manual that the adapter is necessary but I spent an embarrassingly long amount of time trying to connect the machine to my SmartThings app before I looked and found the specification. The adapters are currently sold out until September, according to the website.
