I like the idea of being able to start the washer from my cell but if it isn't compatible with my cell it would be pointless. I saw on the Samsung site that it was compatible with iPhone 4/4S and Galaxy S1/S and was hoping maybe the app has been updated since then so that more smart phones can use the app.”

Thanks for your interest. The WF455 can connect with many other smart phones, as well, as long as you're able to download, install and run the Samsung Smart Washer/Dryer app from the Google Play or Apple stores. Please refer to the Support videos on Samsung's website for assistance setting up and using the app to control your washer and dryer. - Ms. Samsung
