Yes, no problem. The apps/phone allow you to download and use extra wash profiles but honestly with what’s built in and the ease of making changes (like temp or soil level) as I start each load I’ve not seen the need. The phone connection also will notify when the wash is done but I’ve had no trouble hearing the chime. So apps not required!

The app is to download extra profiles and to schedule messages to your phone when cycles are complete or to check how much time is left on the cycle. Just for added convenience, if that's important to you. I like knowing when my wash is done so wet clothes doesn't sit in the washer. Same with the dryer to prevent wrinkles. Hope this helps.
