The washer is hinged on the left side; the dryer is hinged on the right side. This makes for easy delivery of wet laundry into the dryer . Start to finish, the system works great to make doing laundry as easy as possible. I sincerely hope this helps with your decision. I would highly recommend the Samsung washer and dryer. They are the quietest I’ve ever heard. (Most of the time, I double check if it’s actually still running)lol

For this model, as you are facing the washer the hinge of the door will be on the left hand side, and the opening to the right. As for the dryer, currently all Samsung dryer doors can be reversed to open from either direction. ^Jecca
