A:AnswerHi,
Great question. We appreciate that you raised this question regarding the washer.
You can turn the alarm sound on or off. When the alarm is off, the cycle completion melody and the power-off beep will not sound. However, the other sounds stay active.

A:AnswerHi Becky,
Great question! We appreciate your query regarding stacking your washer. The Samsung washer is stackable. You should not stack a washer and dryer unless they are compatible with stacking. The Stacking kit is SKK-8K.
You may check out the Specs Sheet for the Installation Specification on page 2:

A:AnswerHi richar73,
Thank you for reaching out to us and we are glad to know that you are using Samsung products. We are happy to receive your question about this washer. Your washing machine will detect the weight of the load and automatically adjust the optimal water level, washing time, rinse counts, and spin counts based on the cycle that is selected. This washer doesn't have the exact amount how much water it will consume because it depends on how much weight you put in.

A:AnswerHey Donna! I've got this link (https://bit.ly/2Y3hNOs) that I believe will be helpful to you. It has detailed information about different load sizes and your washer. ^Jecca
A:AnswerThanks so much for asking, Ruiz! The short answer is yes, the motor of this model does have a 10 year warranty. For more details, I can provide this link (https://bit.ly/3xXXU7O) to the full terms and conditions of the manufacturer warranty for this model. ^Jecca
A:AnswerI'd like to help with this, Karen. Page 23 of this washer's user manual (https://bit.ly/3sycOAA) offers some dimensions for installing this washer with it's matching dryer. However, if you would like to leave another question with the model number of the dryer you're interested in, I would be happy to look up the specific dimensions of that model. ^Jecca
A:AnswerThe washer is hinged on the left side; the dryer is hinged on the right side. This makes for easy delivery of wet laundry into the dryer . Start to finish, the system works great to make doing laundry as easy as possible. I sincerely hope this helps with your decision. I would highly recommend the Samsung washer and dryer. They are the quietest I’ve ever heard. (Most of the time, I double check if it’s actually still running)lol
A:AnswerI'm so glad you asked, Joni! For the washer, the steam feature helps improve stain treatment, and uses less water than non-steam cycles. The washer requires no additional set up or connections to use the steam feature. However, if you are also purchasing a dryer with steam features, the dryer will require a water line connection to use the steam functions. However, as you mentioned, if you do not connect the water line, the rest of the dryer's functions will still work as normal. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi delores! Your washer uses both hot and cold water dynamically, in a system called Auto Temperature Control. Also, different parts of the cycle will use either hot or cold water, or both. For instance, the Warm cycle uses only cold water until the final rinse. It is also important to note that certain temperature settings are only available on certain cycles. Page 39 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3CAMjPz) has a helpful guide for this. ^Jecca
A:AnswerThanks so much for asking! Samsung recommends using the provided power cord as we cannot confirm full functionality with other power cords. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi, john! Below I have provided the link to the warranty for your washer.

A:AnswerHi Trish! Washer pans are a sold separately accessory that are designed to contain any leaked water. However, if your washer ever does have any leaks, we would ask that you contact us immediately so that we may assist you in getting it resolved. ^Jecca
