Samsung doesn’t currently have research to confirm whether pre-packaged detergent pods are recommended or not, though it’s important to use only HE formulations of whichever detergent you do choose. Adding the pod directly to the wash drum may help it dissolve most effectively. If you find it isn’t dissolving thoroughly, then I would suggest using a traditional liquid or powder form of HE detergent instead, following the instructions in the user manual for proper application. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
