I'm pretty sure this model isn't that old so I don't think anyone can honestly answer that. On another note, I have this TV in my bedroom and I haven't had a single issue out of it. As for the longevity of Samsung, I have a higher end Samsung that I've had for maybe 4 years now and it's still going strong (but I also paid over $2000 for it so I hope it will last for a long time) and another Samsung that I've had for maybe 5 years without any issues (a smaller 22" LED). I've got 2 more Samsung TV's (this model being one of them) but they're only a few months old so only time will tell. If you don't feel 100%, you can always purchase a warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an old Samsung 37inch TV that I have used heavily for over 11 years. It is still going strong. It is an old 720P (1080i) 60hz. TV, and works fine with an Xbox One and Xbox 360.
