I had the same concern re sports, but watching ice hockey, I sense no problem whatsoever. And that moves faster.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a comment based upon my Samsung 32" version. I just watched a whole bunch of the NCAA March Madness and it was perfectly acceptable. No ghosting or pixels jaggies to be seen. Your 40" is going to be much larger, so make sure you're not too close to the TV set, or things like that might be more noticeable.
