I went to this link and both appears to be a split mirror image of each other for most features. The website (http://www.displayspecifications.com/en/) link below gives a side by side comparison: http://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/d05f1b642 I was told by the BestBuy audio tech that HDR is simulated in theUN40KU6300FXZA model which is more that 2 years old now, and while the UN40MU6300FXZA model is full HDR. In addtion the UN40MU6300FXZA seems to have more premium audio sound capacity. Hope this help you in making a good purchase decision.

It is really dark and washed out on HDR. Bought this and played on ps4 with HDR on the mass effect andromeda and it was Dark and washed out. Looked better with out HDR. Now I have last year's modal ku6290 same as ku6300 lacks Bluetooth and few features and it gets really bright and real looking. And on this game makes it look less animated. More lifelike and added more detail. But the mu6300 does none of this.

Please try again later.hdr pro and regular hdr are the same thing. both are not true hdr, but can receive an hdr signal and give you some benefits such as better contrast. for "real" hdr which is hdr10 dolby vision and hdr10+ you will receive full benefits of hdr. much better contrast than hdr pro and the expanded color which 4k blurays and (some) 4k streaming services provide.
