These are both the same TV's. If you try to find the specs of the 630D on Samsung's site, what comes up are the specs for the 6300. The "D" model is sold in big box stores (like Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco) and the 6300 is sold through electronic retailers (like Best Buy). This, in effect, allows Best Buy to deny you price matching, (when the big box store has a lower price) because the model designations are not the same.
