• You can hook up speaker sound system to the TV. There's systems that will connect to it by WiFi. Another way that's used more, is connected "Paired" by Bluetooth. The TV does have audio Optical in back. Good Luck.

• You would have to buy a digital optical converter. It would then come out of the TV via optical cable into the converter and then connect RCA cables from converter to speaker system.
