“I like this TV but have audio question. I raise volume level into the 70's range but still not loud enough. Is there a way I can resolve this issue? Or is there a manufacturer's defect?”

I had the same problem. In the Sound settings you have a choice of 3 or 4 options. I’m not looking at the tv right now, but they are something like loud, standard and mmaximize. We changed it from standard to maximize or something along those lines and that completely solved the problem.
