Yes, this product has a headphone jack and yes the remote control will adjust the volume while headphones are in use.

Not sure if the TV is equipped with variable audio out which is what would be needed for the TV remote to control the volume on external sound devices. No info on Samsung's website about it either.

Please try again later.you must be planning to use wireless headphones, otherwise you are going to need one very long cord. it does have an audio out jack just above the hdmi connections. in order for the remote to control the volume, the tv would need to be equipped with variable audio out capability. I cannot find any first hand information whether the tv has that capability or not. you could ask at the store.
