the smart remote for the 6290 does not change channels. Called samsung and they said this model does not have that function. (or Were they just telling me that to ignore a faulty remote)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i recently just ended a live chat with samsung rep. To answer my own question for anyone else wondering, both remotes do the exact same functions. The smart remote is just suppose to be more easy to use. This is also the ONLY difference from the ku6300 and this(ku6290) according to the samsungs rep i was just talking to who verified this to me twice. yes i asked 2 times differently lol.
