• You can still watch TV and movies and have a great picture. You just will not have access to Netflix or Amazon or the other apps.

• Yeah, you do not have to hook this up to the internet. That is optional. If you have WiFi I reads it automatically and you do nothing. Also this TV reads your existing remotes and cable remotes as well. This thing is awesome.

• This t.v. has to have a cable or satellite connection to get the great picture ,without a connection it's a regular picture.
