I think so. i have a 10 year old, 55 inch Samsung LED and for the last 4 years its been mounted outside on my patio. No direct sunlight but being in Florida, 100% humidity throughout the summer and upper 20s in the winter. I keep it unplugged when not watching but after all of this abuse, not 1 pixel is out! Samsungs are the best! I think you will be fine.
