Ridiculous previous answer to this was that the width is 28.9 inches, that is WRONG. It's 35.5 inches, I personally measured the floor model in the store. Does it even make sense to anyone that a 40 inch TV would only be 28 inches wide?? That is probably the dimension of the 32 inch model
