• Hello, For the best picture, the answer is yes. Otherwise, you can use a standard HDMI and get a slight de-graded picture. However, you might not ever recognize the difference. You can try a standard HDMI Cable and see if you like the picture, and if you think you want to upgrade the HDMI Cable - you can at that time.

• Yes and be sure to buy a HDMI 2.0 cord and not a 1.4 cord or otherwise the picture from your device will come in in 1080p only.

• all the cables should come with this tv. my husband set it up but it did have HDMI cord.

• That depends on who your cable provider is. We went wireless so for us the answer is no.
